About the Educational Consultant

Hello Students! My name is Allison Rose, and I am so honored to have the opportunity to work with you in QUESTABOX coaching program! I am an educator who is passionate about helping students discover their own strengths, needs, and passions and achieve their highest goals.  I am so excited to meet you soon.

My teaching philosophy focuses on helping students become active learners both within and outside the classroom setting. It is critical for me to foster a safe learning environment while implementing a highly rigorous curriculum customized to my students' needs and interests. I graduated from the University of Michigan, where I obtained my bachelor's in English as well as a secondary teaching certificate in English and psychology. I spent several years teaching as a qualified highly effective teacher and coach in public and charter schools, and I have had extensive experience creating curriculum based on I.B. (International Baccalaureate) standards as well as Common Core standards. While teaching, I was able to cultivate many positive relationships with students, parents, and administration, which has furthered my appreciation of Questabox and its mission to help students creatively. During my free time, I enjoy reading, archery, playing the violin, traveling internationally, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
